Sorrel Van Allen is a contemporary jeweller and sculptural object artist based in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, Canada, with a diverse background having studied Welding and Blacksmithing at Selkirk College, Nelson, before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, Halifax

She is inspired by floral and folate forms, tidal ecosystems, and geometry found in nature, often gathering inspiration while on walks and hikes along the coastal regions of Nova Scotia.
